House Approves New Members to House Business Committee
Among the first items of business, the House approved the appointment of new Members to the House Business Committee, which plays a crucial role in scheduling and prioritizing parliamentary business.

Top on the agenda for the 5th session is the consideration of the 2026 Budget Policy Statement (BPS) and the Debt Management Strategy (DMS).

- The DMS provides a framework for managing public debt sustainably, outlining borrowing limits, risk assessment, and repayment plans.
