Parliamentary Delegation Condoles with Tiaty MP William Kamket’s Family

A parliamentary delegation led by National Assembly Clerk Samuel Njoroge on Saturday visited the home of Tiaty MP William Kamket and Data Commissioner Immaculate Kassait to offer condolences following the death of their son, Bill Ballot Kassait Jnr.

The delegation, comprising staff from Parliament, conveyed messages of sympathy from the Parliamentary fraternity and assured the family of continued support during the difficult period.

Speaking during the visit, Njoroge encouraged the family to remain strong in faith, expressing hope and solidarity as they mourn their loss. He reaffirmed Parliament’s commitment to stand with the family and support them as they prepare to give their son a dignified send-off.

Deputy Clerk Serah Kioko also addressed the family, emphasizing unity and compassion among members of the Parliamentary community. She noted that the delegation’s presence reflected the close bond shared within the institution.

Members of Parliament staff present shared messages of comfort, acknowledging the pain of losing a child and standing in solidarity with the bereaved family.

The family described the late Ballot as a jovial and loving teenager with a passion for learning Japanese and reading the Bible.

Preparations are underway for his burial, scheduled for Monday, March 23, 2026, at the family home in Tiaty, Baringo County.
