Egerton University Parents Portal: Official Login and Registration Guide

Egerton University’s Parents/Guardian Portal gives registered parents and guardians access to a student’s registration profile, provisional examination results, fee structure and statement, and accommodation profile. The university’s current portal is parentsportal.egerton.ac.ke. This is an independent guide, not an official university publication.

What the portal shows

Egerton says the portal can show a student’s registration details and programme, provisional exam results, fees information, and accommodation details such as the allocated room. Availability of information depends on what the university has entered and released.

How to register

  1. Open the official Parents/Guardian Portal.
  2. Select Create an Account and follow the page’s instructions.
  3. Have your mobile number, email address, national ID or passport number, and the student’s registration number ready. The university’s 2022 launch notice lists these registration details.
  4. After registration, sign in using the fields shown on the portal. The login page requests National ID/Passport No, password and student number.

Linking more than one student

Egerton’s FAQ says an existing parent account can add another student’s registration number; a separate account is not required for each child. It also says more than one parent or guardian can have an account, provided each uses their own email address and national ID or passport number.

Forgot your password or cannot log in?

  • Use the portal’s Forgot Password page and follow the on-screen steps.
  • For a new account, Egerton asks users to allow up to 24 hours for access to work and to check the spam or junk folder.
  • If the issue continues, contact the university at parents.raca@egerton.ac.ke.

Protect the student’s information

Student results, fee records and accommodation information are personal data. Register only if you are an authorised parent or guardian, keep your password private, and sign out on a shared device. Confirm payment instructions through Egerton’s official systems; do not send passwords, identity documents or payments to an individual who contacts you through social media.
